Sulfamate Nickel Electroplating
Sulfamate nickel electroplating is a tried-and-true approach for coating base components with nickel for improved hardness and friction resistance. In this approach, a sulfamate bath is used for the electroplating process. The large amount of nickel sulfate used during the process provides a high concentration of nickel ions, which bond to the surface of the base metal. The resulting deposit is harder, less brittle and shows greater polishing characteristics.
