ROLL COATING SERVICES
Electro-Coatings is a specialist in Roll Coating. Roll Coating is the process of applying a film mechanically to a sheet or strip of material, which is achieved by passing it through rollers. This process gives it the simple name of Roll Coating. After the process has had time to cure, the material roll coated is then shaped into the form at which it will be seen at the final stages. This process is done without damaging the roll coating finish.
Roll coating can be achieved in two different forms; direct and reverse roll coating. In the direct roll coating process the roll rotates in the same direction as the material moves. This process is normally used on sheet metal and in the metal industry. Reverse roll coating the metal is fed between the rolls as a continuous coil while the roll rotates in the opposite direction of the material. This achieves a roll coating of each side of the material being used.
